I don't want to hear anyone ever say that "nobody is going to offroad a $100k truck!"
I really appreciate Andrey's authenticity, poor guy is scared to death!!
I have a wagon and the White Quartermaster in this video, good times Andre it was a pleasure. Both are lifted with Eibach springs and factory shocks no issues whatsoever and both have been off road quite a bit in Moab and elsewhere. I couldn’t choose between them If you put a Gun to my head. They are both awesome. My wagon is set up for a little more serious off roading, 35’s instead of the 33’s on the Quartermaster and twice as much lift 2 1/2”, though the next day I did Hells revenge in the Quartermaster. It seems possible that lifts that increase droop might exceed driveline angles, combine that with improper locker engagement, using them in high traction situations causing driveline binding, might be too much for the stock CV’s especially in the front. But I’ve had no failures and no visible signs of excess wear whatsoever,
Going up and down Wipeout Hill was a blast, gave me new respect for my Grenadier. Going up made me wish I had a front trail cam.
Cool adventure, the Grenadiers looks great on the trai! Good job Andre.
Ineos makes the GRENADIER. Grenadier comes in two different versions: "Station Wagon (the "SUV"), and Quartermaster (the "pick up"). One is shorter, other is longer. Other than that, they are identical. So I don't get how you put up a "grenadier vs quartermaster" ?
I'll take the gladiator Rubicon for 35,000 less
Well it's nice that TFL is giving it a second look and maybe a fair deal , Roman hated it and bias the review and editing ,
Andre look terrified...
I’d still like one.
I like the Quartermaster, just would want to put a lift and larger tires on it. As you said, they really are not built for doing that. Kind of a shame.
I live back in Europe and own a Dacia Duster and love your channel. Wish I could own a Grenadier, but for now, a Duster does it well. Would you grab one from Mexico once and do a review?
Bring the diesel to America and Ill buy 2 of them.
100k truck… by the way we should get portals to raise the vehicle properly 😂
First :-)
looks like a good time was had by all. Thank you
6:02 il take the wagon version's shorter wheel base 115" , no need for a roof top fold down the back seat add sleeping bag im good, now if the pickup had a 6-6'5' bed id go for it
How much more clearance did you need so that you didn't scrape? How much taller did you have to be? You said you would rather take the truck, was that because the truck has better clearance?
I did a good chunk of this trail in my Lexus GX with 285/70's and a 1.5" lift and it had very little issues. The trail that really beat it up was Mashed Potatoes because the approach and departure angles were wild.
I think my 2023 frontier is 126.
