Well done, TFL You've inspired Ford, a giant in the auto industry to improve their product from your testing. I appreciate Ford for acknowledging there was a problem and correcting it.
If it's only a software change are they going to offer the update to any hardware compatible older models. This is a perfect example of where over the air updates could make the owners lives better.
A very special congrats to not only TFL but to FORD of course for not only taking note but for acknowledging it. I think that's awesome !
I sure hope Ford will offer a software upgrade for those of us who have the 2025 models. Glad to see they are responding to the original TFL 2025 test video. Now I hope they respond to the customers that purchased a 2025 models! Thanks TFL for another great video.
That's good that the OEs are actually responding to criticism! Now for a good PR stunt they should offer an update for the previous MY
I think its cool Ford is paying attention and fixing things. it would be nice if all the vehicle manufacturers did.
The question is why in the world do the Ford engineers wait for some guys on YouTube to test their products.
If it is a software change, are they going to flash the older Mavericks
Please tell FORD to offer the software update for 2025 hybrid AWD owners!!!!!
Can Ford updated the software in the 2025 to match the 2026???
Does this mean there will be software updates for the 2025 and older?
I have 2 thoughts. 1. It’s great that ford is paying attention and cares enough to improve based on a channel like this. Amazing that you guys are having a positive influence. 2. Why the hell wasn’t ford doing this test on their own before?
Wow, you guys got Ford to make a change! Impressive.
That’s great they solved the issue with the all wheel drive! Will they be able to do a software update on the 2025 to see the same results or was there more to it than that?
It felt like the old system was built to check off the AWD check box, where with the updated system you can actually have confidence in what it is capable in. Awesome to see the update and that it didn't take a whole truck generation change to update as well.
TFL is REAL Journalism
The fact that they needed to do that means they pushed that out without even testing it.
Great job Tommy
While I appreciate Ford taking feedback and improving, did Ford not do some basic testing in the first place?
Great video and having the older model year truck and younger Tommy as reference really shows how much improvement has been made on both 😊! Excellent informational content as usual, thank you! I love the Maverick Hybrid and I’m glad to see the software is being updated!
