I have the same Willy’s Gladiator. Around town is about 14-16. Best I got on the Highway is 21.2.

I just took a Jk and a gladiator from Shreveport la all the way to Laramie Wyoming right through Denver and it got shit gas mileage and would do it again

I don't understand why Jeep doesn't offer a single-cab version - swb/lwb option of the Gladiator.

It amazes me how people that review these vehicles spit out numbers like $57,000 like it’s a deal instead of an absolutely crazy amount of money for a vehicle.

On the Freeway doing 70, I have seen my 25 Gladiator get as much as 21mpg on 33 inch KO3s.

Great to see these comparisons, especially the $1 more per gallon 87 compared to the states North of you. To be clear, those factory configurations drastically impact payload and towing, at least on the Gladiator. The Rubicon can be ~1100lbs and the Sport Max Tow up to 1700lbs, more than any other midsize.

Have not watched the video yet. I own both a JLU and JT ecodiesel in both and have the same options. Both have the exact same 17” wheels and 37” tires and similar mods but the JT is heavier. My JT gets 10% better fuel economy when drove at the exact same time on the same trips (22 for JLU 24 for JT). No idea why but it’s just better

Never go by the manufacturer's numbers when it comes to mpg. Always use the pump and real world method like they are doing here. Don't go by your vehicle's computer dash number either. They can be inaccurate often. I remember back in the 70s a lot of guys would leave the tail gate down just to increase air flow and aero dynamics to increase fuel mileage. Some claimed it worked. Others claimed it didn't. One of the mods I would consider on a Jeep today is a bigger fuel tank to extend the range but that's just me. Nice video guys. Thanks for doing this.
