Glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t rate Mary’s. Thought I was the only one! Tried 3 times because people kept saying I’ve had a bad one, nope same every time 😢 (didn’t have leeks mind)
And don't forget to mention the vegetable fat in the pastry... (Although there's no fat in vegetables LOL)
hi, i work in the bakery in grampound road, go get a fresh one from the bakery, still makes us laugh that people freak out about the leeks 😂 we say if its made in cornwall then its a cornish pasty haha but each to their own! this one must of been an odd one that’s slipped through the net but i can promise if ya get one from the bakery youll love it!

Tony I totally agree with you. I have had Mary's pasties and why I go back I dont know. The last time I had one I said that's it. It was dry, overcooked and yep leaks so you cant call it a Cornish pasty. Rowes is know better, to much crimp on them and dry as old boot.

Pengenna Pasties are the best I have tasted (Tintagel shop).
