I used to hate Julie because of Ross & Rachel,but rewatching friends made me realize that she is a better person than them.

Ross being jealous over Paulo and Rachel being jealous over Julie was funny and made for some great story lines. But the jealousy in the later seasons just became toxic and too unbearable to watch.

lets just all agree that rachel although financially independent was still that high school cheerleader who just wanted to be the centre of attention by the boys,, she just couldnt handle that she was no longer the centre of someones universe

People who hate Ross tend to forget how Rachel was whenever he was trying to move on.

Look how relaxed Ross now is around Rachel, now that Rachel is no longer in his heart. Rachel no longer makes Ross nervous or excited. He can now be himself around her without overthinking everything. Its a great feeling when you have moved on from the girl who never noticed you or the girl who rejected you.

Rachel actually destroyed many of Ross’ relationships and has the audacity to judge Ross. Brilliant character tho but I hated her and Ross angle. Early seasons were too damn good.

First sign that Rachel was toxic for Ross.

This advice that "women don't want sex" would be very good for Ross and it would prevent him from having sex with the copy girl and cheating ( or not ) Rachel

This is the first but it won't be the last time Rachel gives Ross bad advices or his girlfriends , i remember Bonnie ( season 3 ) right now

If Ross were the one deliberately giving bad advice, he'd be considered sexist, possessive, and annoying. When Rachel does it, apparently it's okay.

I honestly love rachels character, people jump to hate rachel and ross because of their flaws, but unlike them I embrace their flaws, Rachel was put into the real world in season 1 and she is learning to become a better and independent person, she can be very selfish bc everything was given to her in the past and her life was controlled by her parents , it doenst mean she is a bad person, she has many redeeming qualities like how brave she is to take this leap of faith, giving up a insured rich life with barry for a chance she may go broke, and for how sweet she is, and how cool and funny she is, and how she always supports her friends, idk why people tend to hate characters with flaws, if all characters didnt have flaws the show would be boring, learn to embrace ones flaws, all the character are good at heart, people are to ignorant and closed minded to appreciate rachel, just enjoy the show and stop crying over how much u hate rachel or ross or any other character!

So Ross was jealous and extremely insecure and Rachel was also jealous and extremely insecure. The older I get the more I realize how awful their relationship was. Although it was definitely entertaining to watch

Julie was a nice girl. She was perfect for Ross. I know everyone talks about how toxic Ross was to Rachel. But Rachel did her share when it comes to ruining his chances .
