Sponsor: ID-Cooling Frozn A720 Black on Amazon https://geni.us/VDnou4Y We're reviewing a Cyberpower Pre-Built Gaming PC, revisiting the company a year after our last review of one of their computers. Unfortunately, we'd still recommend the first thing you do with a Cyberpower PC is replace its CPU cooler. This time, instead of overheating and throttling hard, the system has some of the worst pump whine we've ever heard. The system also didn't turn on at boot, which was a new one for us, as its SSD was dead on arrival. After replacing the SSD with our own and installing Windows, we found it still had some issues with BIOS and thermals. Got here so fast Bloomberg hasn't even put a strike on the video yet.
Pre-mostly built.
"THAT'S the sound of *QUALITY."* Oh no. This is going to be a "good" one.
0:50 Alright, whos making a smoothie? 😂
This is going to hurt the “Better Than Dell” award isn’t it?
I haven’t even started watching the video and the title’s already got me laughing.
I had this same thing happen. I had to send it back and when i recieved it again after TWO MONTHS!!!! the water cooling had come loose on shipping and the entire inside of the computer was covered in coolant. Obviously I returned it and got a refund instead of trying to get it fixed yet again. It was a 4k system btw.
A GN Staff member is the last person you want to send a non functional prebuilt to. Cyberpower's amazing quality control gifts us another great video.
“Hey, yeah, I’ve seen this one! This one’s a classic!” “What are you talking about, it just came out?”
Think it this way: you are not buying a computer. You are buying a challenge and an education. In fact, it's a deal!
I remember building my computer with high end specs and being under $1,200...with gpu.
I have found that no one is going to put as much love as I do into building a system to make sure it is 100% correct.

I had a friend come to me right when the ram crisis started - he had just saved up his budget, didn't want to build it himself, wanted it quick before prices shot up, didn't want to spend time comparing parts, prices, compatibility, wanted one warranty to deal with, etc... I said Cyberpower should be okay since you don't pay a huge markup, and it should be relatively easy to fix/upgrade in the future. Seeing this video title made my stomach sink but hearing you recommended a similar system for similar reasons made me feel better. He has thankfully had no issues with it, and I gave it a look over myself - aside from the front glass being slightly misaligned I couldn't see any issues with it or damage from shipping. But it's so frustrating that this hobby is so difficult to get into. It shouldn't be this hard for someone to spend nearly $2k on a PC and not get screwed in one way or another. Either pay a fair price for questionable quality, pay your budget and have to go down in specs because you're getting overcharged, or have to pay an exorbitant markup to get what you should be getting for your money.
YEE Just what we need today
This pump sounds like my blender.
That pump noise is probably from a bad bushing / bearing. Which is insane for an AIO that's supposed to be brand new. Yikes.
Thanks Gamer Nexus
Can you imagine the people who actually assembled it
MAN I LOVE PC GAMING IN 2026
