We all knew RDR2 was going to dominate this list. I still remember trailing a random NPC in Valentine for an entire in-game day just to watch him finish his shift at the stables, get a drink at the saloon, get into an argument, stumble back to his tent, and pass out. The level of detail is completely unmatched even years later.

I typed this up before I could even finish the video because I knew for an absolute fact it would be a crime to not include the main menu NPC of Detroit become human who not only makes commentary on your playthrough or playthroughs if you're doing multiple but will eventually even ask for her own freedom based on decisions you make in the game and you can choose to either give it to her or wipe her memory like wtf am I making decisions like that for in the main menu I thought she was just a nice little ooh that's cool no she's there eventually make you rethink everything you've been doing playing that game
