TLDW: Luke is concerned with the lack of mold in his pirate game.
what I am noticing in terms of details is that even in the middle of a storm, the crew is still acting like the ship is a bay, nobody is yelling, holding at everything they can, fighting the movement of the ship or wind, protecting themselves from the rain. I do not really care about the sand that stays on edward, but the crew members that I will see A LOT matters to me, I would love to see more natural behavior for them during storms or sunshine or ship fight sequences.
Just in time for me to eat lunch. Holy fucking peak
finally not an ad
Now I want to see Luke play this game and Sing a sea shanty live on stream.
For this game the lack of hidden blade combat I find a bit disappointing but it’s okay. But if there is ever an Ezio Resync type game I would be furious if I couldn’t use them in combat
Ahhh yes Luke “The Mold” Stephens
You’d expect a mold expert to know water and sand makes wet sand, not mud. Fascinating.
Combat looks awkward and I hate how there is no transition between holding swords and using hidden blades or shooting pistols. How do the swords just teleport to their sheathes?
Ezio Altair and Connor were all able to block swords and do counters with the hidden blades. Ezio even breaks a hidden blade in the revelations trailer doing it.
Thank you for watching and SUBSCRIBING! Also check out to find out about mold in the Caribbean.
Luke has AI hair now
I love the aspect of the weather and the stealth working in tandem. I really hope this is something than continue to use in future games. I hate that sometimes a cool feature is added, then removed in future games.
we all know which reviewer will call it button mashing (IGN)
Looting is busy work, in a pirate game... I hate it when game Devs remove gameplay from games to make them more 'streamlined', I want to play your game, let us PLAY the game. If you think it's busy work, find ways to make it more interesting, as opposed to removing it entirely. That's what they did in Civ 7 and essentially turned it into a game on rails. The more you streamline a game, the more it becomes a movie/documentary/TV show instead of a game.
Sounds like you are giving them way too much leeway for things they changed for the worse, i.e. hidden blades.
You can tell "The New stuff and characters" are from current Ubisoft, I genuinely think Ubisoft cannot make write stories anymore and use motion capture tech.. they have to rely on Remake to make successfull videogame.
Anyone else tired of almost every triple A games default combat button being R1/RB? What happened to X/Square combat?
Can we still pick up & use axes, single swords, & rifles from enemies?!
so after all its a rpg combat system, got it you got healthbars, abiliteis and cooldowns I really hoped they wouldn't go that way, antoher thing that bugs me is that there are in combat hidden blade executions but you only can have your blades out in combat, whats the point of executing someone in combat with hidden blades if you have swoards in your hands that you have to put away each time...idk there are a few things that just bug me
