Destiny was one of many things that me and my dad bonded over. Played all the campaigns together and attempted as many dungeons as we could just me and him. I've fallen in love with Destiny's story and characters (which Byf greatly added to due to his deep lore dives) so it feels extra sad to see it end but I'll always cherish those memories with my dad. Thank you Byf!
I remember watching your videos in middle school man. Im damn near finished with college now. Its crazy how much destiny has been in my life and for so long. Where ever you may go man you will always have a viewer in me.
Byf, I have been watching you for years at this point, I think since I was 15 or 16, I will not stop watching your content. You are such a wonderful storyteller and have gotten me though some dark times, and as of recently helped my insomnia! keep doing what makes you happy and people will gather. the world is better off with people like you who can weave worlds with their words and any community or game would be lucky to have you makeing there world so much more alive. I've been playing Destiny since the D1 alpha, but one of the biggest appeals to me has always been the lore, even at times when I haven't been playing the games. It's very sad to see how many times the series and Bungie have seen low points, but somewhat inspiring to see how many times they bounced back. I met my best friend in a D2 Raid, and have many fond memories of the series in spite of the negative times. Thank you Byf for sharing the amazing story of Destiny all these years, and please keep up the great work wherever you're channel goes.
I picked up Destiny day 3 of its release in the darkest time of my adult life. It's been a friend in my darkness since that day. It saved me too.😢

Byf, you've been my destiny, lore keeper and informant for years. Can't even tell you with a number how long I've been watching you. I teared up when I saw this was the final update.This game has been a part of so many people's lives for the good and the bad. The friends we've made and lost. I grew up playing 1 and 2 this as a teenager , and now my teenager is playing it. it's a wild cycle. Well, never forget about you and I always check when you have new videos. When I think back on Destiny years from now, I'll always think of the content creator who told the stories of Destiny better than Bungie themselves. Thank you for the years of great stories in this universe. I remember the first video I ever watched from you was the lmg super good advice. I shared it with a friend of mine and we both were like, why isn't this story in the game?I've been a fan ever since.
I spent the better part of my formative years playing and immersing myself in this universe, at times i loved and hated it but theres one thing i always appreciated about this game. Community. Especially you Byf, your love for the lore of this franchise and your expert story telling had always captivated me. Thank you, for everything and thank you for constantly reigniting my love for this franchise and story telling in general. Much love man, keep your head up, youre a phenomenal human being!

What I can say to you personally is… trust yourself and your passion for storytelling because you will ALWAYS have an audience if you keep following this passion. You’re REALLY exceptional at what you do and what you bring. You are genuine and it shows EVERY TIME! You are extremely intelligent and articulate. You care about and make it a point to stay true to the stories while taking us into these deep dives. Keep shining that wonderful light.
