Start with a coach, they get promoted
In the last years, the only teams actually winning trophies are managed teams
Incredible what 1 person can do to change the team
It only works if you really believe in them and give them time.
One wins titles, and the other loses them
bro you gotta bring back soccer cleats hunting man ive found some insane deals at burlington
Bad manager can tank a team for years to come but a good one can elevate them for many years. Theres a reason the best teams have managers…
Chelsea's Sporting Leadership Team have 5 directors in it, and now they hired a so called "manager". 6 people making decisions, the definition of too many cooks.
I surely prefer a manager over a coach but for it to work, it must be a long-term investment, otherwise many managers show up in little time, they keep on moving the players and there is no real project estabilished to win trophies.
A manager ❤❤❤
SAF also had tabs on all the pubs in Manchester to know what his players were upto in off hours😂😂
Managers are undoubtedly better than a Head Coach and it's not even close. Managers understand the game better than owners and they have a vision for their squad, they can't fully realise that vision without overall control. The board can still want the Manager to play a certain style, sure but having faith in that manager and allowing them to do what they need to do is pivotal for club success. On the flip side, a head coach is good for temporary placements but horrible for the long run. They can't build as strong an identity in the squad and if a player doesn't suit their style, tough luck the board wants them, it can create a conflict.
It's sir Alex Ferguson have some god dam respect
Manager, if i can't control who comes and goes, miss me.
As a Barca fan I strongly believe in giving a manager the power over who plays so that they can build around their own tactics and ideas.
The style I perfer depends on the owners and sporting director of my club. Now I am a Chelsea fan and we got horrible owners and SDs so I rather a manager.
I prefer managers all the way
I have never understood the head coach thing if you dont trust them enough to make signings dont hire them in the first place
Perez if coach not ancelotti or mourinho he decides who plays who comes in. If those 2 there then it's The manager does. Only Jose had and will have purchasing power Carlo only had benching option
Managers for me but it’s not just them that make the team better. Sporting directors are needed to oversee things, the club needs a clear vision that both the manager and sporting director will help each other to achieve
