The garden is getting so full now that I barely even need mulch anymore which honestly feels like a huge win. Finally ! Ive been saying someone needs to put this garden on the front of a magazine! Youre getting the attention your garden is so deserving of. Its beautiful, and the things you and Brent create ( the table, the potting table in the greenhouse ,the lattice by the seating area gazebo...) is just pure craftmanship. You should think about getting a mini-split for your greenhouse. They're pretty cheap and you and Brent could install it yourselves. The garden looks beautiful!

I totally agree with you on the colored mulch. I use pine bark mulch in my beds, I love the look of it and it is a great soil amendment. I do use the dark brown dyed mulch on pathways. It looks more natural that the black and the red do. Nothing is uglier, in my opinion, is the black mulch when it fades in the sunlight. The garden is looking great - mulch really is the perfect finishing touch! The Bad Hair Day bloom stalk is insane!! Very sorry to hear about your grandpa.
