Uhh, the memories here were nice. Miss the Raft I made.

Sadly a really interesting part of Temperate D5 got just cut out. There were bigger monarchies, but around the center of the map there were even smaller nations. As the big war broke out, we basically united as one, creating a new power to secure all of us from the Great War's threats. This was done by 3 factions - Gorillas Reservation, presented on D1 and NADO (Not a Decaying Order, a unity of 2 religious organizations - Not a Cult and The Decaying Order, who can be distinguished by a large cathedral near the Arasaka Tower), with the third one being Cattfeine Cafe with cats, just to secure it. And it worked pretty well. But we did not just stay neutral - at the end of the war we attacked Arasaka Tower directly, losing one out of our two leaders. And this leader was the only one dead on this raid, with the Arasaka Tower being left devastated. The Arasaka logo got swapped to peace sign ☮ and the company itself rebranded to some cute name. This, however, is not the end of the story. With NADO leader being killed in attack on Arasaka, Gorillas leader wanted all power in this new island for himself. And he definely could achieve that goal - with the war absolutely devastating all major powers, we were basically the only one thing left relevant on this island. But people said it was enough with dictators, and the new leader, who was covering himself with words about island unity, got publically executed. This marked the end of our short alliance, and the end of the last power of the Temperate island. This whole part was not scripted at all, and we were all improvising, which turned out to be pretty fun for those not involved in the war. The island that was expected to be the most chill place ever required wiping out 80% of population before we could finally reach our unity. And this was the great potential for the story of how people unite after devastating wars on our land (the story of the European Union if you ask me), and only taking up arms if we get threatened by externals. I would honestly better see our island fighting with cold, even if it meant our complete wipeout, because that is what we originally agreed on. What was the fun part is how I somehow survived 3 TNT minecart drops on me in this major battle without a scratch

Thoroughly enjoyed taking part of this event, looking forward to seeing what stories emerge next!

I have some critiques, but let me start with what i liked: i loved shotpunz’s story and how lime was framed into it, and limes story was just as great. I also think that the final fight was very organic and great for limes character. All of these were very well executed. However if I believe that there was just far too much going on in this for it to stick with the audience. For example the old man’s story felt very forced, like we were meant to like his character even though his character wasn’t all that likable to begin with, and that you were pushing this character constantly despite his lack of any addition to the story, even making the final scene about him. It felt like you really wanted that emotional connection, but it was just done very inorganically. One last critique I have is that the borders dropped WAYYY too late. It didn’t give the nations of the other islands time to engage, it really just felt like 3 different 500 players were put on an island video. The merge only lasted a measly 8 minutes.

Gotta appreciate just how amazing cinematography and music was, truly next level stuff. I can see why this took over a year to make!
