I don't understand how they made so many games after Black Flag that seemed like a step or multiple steps backwards.

One thing I wanted was the ship to be sailed without you at the helm. I wanted to be able to walk around my ship while it was moving to its next destination. But everytime you let go of the wheel it stops. An officer should be able to drive it in your stead.

I have played every assassins Creed, but I have not finished one since Black flag. I’m so excited to go back to this world.

Overall this game looks beautiful, but I’m a bit disappointed by how buggy a lot of the combat and even facial animations look. I really, really hope these can be ironed out before release.

The smoothness of the parkour is better but I think they need to lean more towards weighty, realistic jumps and lunges, make it seem more effortful and slower by default. I think players should be rewarded for finding parkour routes that are less straining for the character. Speed shouldn't just be handed to players for free, at least make it require some thinking.
