Why do most our fans say we're building something now? We shouldn't be trying to build a completely new identity from scratch because Sir Alex Ferguson already established the standard and values, putting the blueprint for success on a plate for this club. For 13 years we've been breaking the club trying to find SAF's successor. Like Carrick has done, he hasn't built anything new with a tactical overhaul, he's used let's say "secrets" from his time at the club because he knows the club's DNA inside out which is why these interims are successful. We don't need an Enrique to build something completely unfamiliar so this is why I think Carrick is currently the perfect man for the job. Those should stop complaining that we have Carrick. Our true success abd identity have been hidden during the dark times of the past 13 years, and we're finally finding that genuine United feeling with Carrick again. Accepting this approach stops us from building another tactical mess on top of our existing problems and repeating the same failed cycle.
