The Premier League awards exactly 40 medals to the title-winning club Of these, every player who makes at least 5 appearances during the season is strictly guaranteed one. The club then has complete discretion to distribute the remaining medals to the manager, coaching staff, and any other players who fell short of the 5-appearance threshold.
