I mean the restaurant never really lied to its customers. Regardless, I'm shocked it lasted for that long

The owner seems like a nice person, and the staff seems to be treated very well. They're also very honest about how bad their food is for your health.

the owner is a former doctor and psychologist, he had the idea that after being treated like a king and overfed for being obese, it would actually end up making them feel bad about themselves. many weight loss stories are attributed to the restaurant, i will miss it personally

Remember: this restaurant stayed in business for over 20 years because of all the customers and their willingness to die for this food. The owner of this shop proved that, even through warnings, labels, and threats, that people can and will keep buying. It’s disgusting.

Here's the funny part: this restaurant was created by a doctor to mock gluttonous behaviour. In an interview, he even stated, "I wish that one day I could open my window and see that no one comes here anymore" (rough quote, don't remember it clearly).

It was actually trying to do the opposite. They were trying to show just how disgusting the food industry was which is why they weren’t blunt on the fact that they will kill you

I'll miss it because the whole point of the restaurant was to open your eyes and show how grows obesity is and how bad it is and ya it might have made some people to put on some pounds for free food but it also made tons of more to lose weight He wasn't just promoting obesity He was making it aware
