and this is why the summer camps at my workplace require IDs for pickup, and for the ID to match the name on the pickup list. yes it makes the end of the day a bit of a hassle, but most parents fully understand why we do it and don’t mind because it shows them we have intentional protocol in place to keep their kids safe.
