Facts, I love the Nigerian accent. I love how they talk about the world. Nothing is ever simple or basic for a Nigerian, its all complicated. No one ever just trips over a sandal, its "My enemies are plotting my demise." β¨chefs kissβ¨

Like Trevor I love accents and I really love how the Nigerian accent makes every single syllable its own thing in its own right, almost like they're separate words. It really gives it a character like no other. π
I love this, because as Africans we're taught to look down on our accents. Kudos, Trev.

What he said is true! You have to be willing to face embarrassment in order to learn a new language! That's what I had to do to learn Spanish, and it was totally worth it! Sometimes you have to be willing to look like a fool to do the thing you want! β€

Nigeria has a variety of accent depending on what region you're at though... Keep up the good work
I have ALWAYS said, my favorite English is that spoken by Jamaicans and South Africans. The sheer POETRY they inject to the language! I adore how expressive they are. I had never seen anyone mention that before now watching this Trevor clip β‘
