If you're redoing the lane, I'd strongly suggest the tarmac be about 1,5 to 2 car widths. Makes it possible to pass each other, and also better if you have a lorry coming in sometime.

In the last video you were talking about taking the wheel off the 964 to remove an old unwanted centre cap. With a small hole drilled into it and a metal hook, you can pull the cap off easily. I've done that before.
