One thing I strongly despise about Hispanic households. When a girl makes a small mistake, the parents go nuclear. When a boy invades a girl's privacy, they just slap his wrist. When a girl goes out, she has to have an escort and be mindful of what she's wearing. When a boy goes out, he's allowed to go alone, doesn't have to mindful of what he's wearing, and can come back at any time. When a girl brings a boy home, the father is protective. Vice versa, the father throws a party.

The people mad at her for spraying Max are the same people who would arrest/expel someone for self defense. Mind you, she wasnt punishing him in place of her dad, she was DEFENDING her friend by preventing him from looking through the hole.
