It's not a bad idea, I just wish they were serious about UBI
Fully automate all the necessities.
I still dont understand how this works... if ai takes are jobs, then we get some kind of UBI, wont the companies need to lower price for goods and services which makes it them getting less money ? also from what ive read, i might be wrong but the UBI will be based off the taxes from the p companies that are using A.I ....If someone could please explain how this works id glady appreciate it.. dont really see how this is good for anyone...
Thanks
So they give that minuscule amount of money just to demand it back for their AI tax?
The new Ealiox app just might do this UBI work for all of us lol officially a web3 age that we live in.
What about austerity? Reduce subsidies for business and lower military spending.
“signal”
2000 dollars a month is NOTHING. This is 2026.
But our social security system is broke and no free healthcare or education or energy…
Yes, there should be UBI. No, it shouldn’t be contingent on anyone’s “willingness to pay taxes”. Billionaires pay their fair share, and only then can we talk.
Universal income would be paid by governments... the tax payer essentially. Are the billionaire tech company owners the ones paying for this universal basic income, since their adoption of AI is what's causing job loss? And what exactly is their idea of a basic universal income? Do they have any concept of how much average people are paying for everything? Bad idea.
This would only work if we ditched fiat currency and based credit value on energy, like Kwh. So if an item costs X kwh to produce then thats the cost to buy. All current forms of economics and politics dont support a UBI... So they would need to reform the government into a Technocracy. That will never happen because instead of politicians we would elect the top experts in the fields to run the government. Just cant work without a full change in how our government works. No form of government in the world wants to let the scientists and experts in charge over politicians. 🤔
Ubi is good to have. It can happen. Takes time. 1k or 2k at a time.
* shakes head
It should be Universal Basic Access to AI so we can all be producers. But it's going to be Universal Basic Income so we can all be consumers.
Look at 'em...😄😄. The THIRST. Mountain Dew. Free-eeee.
It would help advance humanity to afford to thrive and live they could all.focus on ascending and thriving
They might support it with their words, but they certainly will not support it with their taxes.
Thanks ig?
