Queens, which is close to Flushing Meadows, has the biggest Filipino population in America that I know of, probably even more than any place in CA. They showed up to support one of their own today. I had never heard of Eala until she beat the number 2-ranked Swiatek in the quarter finals at the Miami Open back in June. Eala is only 20 years old. One to watch, that is for sure.
