These 2 guys keep confusing some of us. Twelve months ago, most people felt Sinner was better on hardcourts, and Alcaraz was better on natural surfaces. Sinner had match points in the French open finals and beat Alcaraz convincingly at Wimbledon. I thought Alcaraz was in trouble, only for him to come back and dominate Sinner in a hardcourt finals. These 2 are constantly evolving and I don't want to assume how things will be in a few months time. Am just going to enjoy the rivalry and hope both stay healthy. Alcaraz was extremely impressive this tournament.

But Alcaraz/Sinner just takes the game and the idea of a rivalry to an incredible level we've never seen. The shotmaking is like nothing we've ever seen before. The athleticism is jus above Federer/Nadal/Djokovic. The heart of both players is bigger than NYC. The arrogance is rightly tempered by utmost sportmanship is of the Federer/Nadal/Djokovic era. The entertainment value is greater than any Hollywood blockbuster. This is special. Beyond special. And we are all so so lucky to be able to witness it.
