I miss my grandma, since she started having issues caused by her dementia, she started seeing things, and it would really act up at night, she somehow saw me knocking on her window at night, and I apparently did it multiple nights, smiling at her just knocking. My parents believed it and asked me about it, I told them the only time I passed her window, is when I'd go to see my cat after work, who sleeps in the storge room outside. But I never messed with the window, they checked the cameras and saw I was telling the truth. But ever since then she just doesn't acknowledge me anymore, even with everyone clearing things up, turns out it was a mix of her mental decline and my brother knocking on the window once during the day. And that cause her to see it in her dreams at night, except she was seeing me. Its been years since then, she still doesn't even say hi to me, to my son every time, but its like I don't exist to her.

A lot of people forget elderely people have basically lost everyone they lost their parents and their siblings their best friends and they can’t even make more cause they can’t physically get a job most of the time of course they’ll get grumpy especially when you spent your whole life trying to figure it out only for it to be taken away by age I think we should all do stuff like this for our grandmothers no matter the past feelings you’ve both spread anger or emotional just do it be their friend listen to them ask them about their life their favorite job the people they remember the most if you don’t you might regret it my grandmas still alive and sometimes I cry because we’re not close and I just wish she was like a grandma to me not who she was but it’s also my fault I’m an adult now and I have the power to talk to her and ask her things just like all of you
