"Before I Die" seems to be not just for the Vikings, but all men's sports teams in Minnesota.
I absolutely could have accepted losing a series to the Avs down some key pieces. What makes this such a gut-punch to me is watching them go toe-to-toe with them for so much of so many games and piss it away. This one will sit in the back of Hughes' mind during any kind of contract negotiations for sure.

I will never understand why they hired John Hynes who is a career playoff choker and I will also never understand why they made Jared Spurgeon team captain when the guy is a mute. Stupid decision making everywhere you look with that franchise.
While I was watching the last 3 minutes of the 3rd period, I suddenly found myself saying, come on Wild, don't you dare pull a Vikings now! 😢 And of course, just like clock work they did. Would Erickson Ek made a difference if he had played, maybe but I doubt it! The Avalanche didn't win this game the Wild gave it away! You can say all you want about Minnesota pro sports but once again they prove to us they are classic chokers! Accountability, performance and leadership are the keys to success and unfortunately, they fail at all 3! Good stuff guys!
