as a Munster fan...and though I'll be rooting for our 'neighbours' up the road, I simply cannot see Leinster, even on a good day, living with B.Beg.
There were a few calls that I felt Bath were hard done by. But Bordeaux were clearly the better team and deserved winners. What I couldn’t stand was the constant bitching by the commentary team, it reminded me of Austin Healy's biases when Saracens got smashed by La Rochelle 3 years back. Be better, boys.
The biased commentators should be ashamed of themselves. Calling every upright tackle as head-on-head with Zero proof. Instigating English fans for clicks while throwing the officiating team under the bus. A good game ruined by Dishonest commentators.
Unlucky Bath, great tournament 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
As a neutral, the TMO officiating was a disgrace.
If I had a pound for every time Bath gave away a try in the first five, I could have joint ownership with Bruce
As a neutral, it really bothers me that the TV director can flagrantly try to influence the outcome the game. Bordeaux were clearly the better team and didn't need any help. But in my eyes, the integrity of the contest was compromised. Surely it would be straightforward to put a neutral in charge of that role? Ruined a good game.
Semi finals should be in neutral venues
Ooh, not good for Leinster
Please don't ever ever subject neutral rugby fans to Andy Good and Lawrence Dalaglio ever again. My God they can whibge and moan
Bath played very well well but just didn’t get the 50/50s and the TMO must have been Stevie Wonder
I gave up watching it after it became clear that the French were going to cheat a win by refusing to show replays and proper angles. How long more are they going to be allowed get away with this? The question really is how do we get the French to stop cheating? Personally, I'd prefer the rules imposed regardless of where the match is played. Failing that, I think other countries should just do the exact same thing when French teams play abroad and that might (only might) stop it
Andy Goode, what a shameful day at the office. How he still gets booked for anything is beyond me
Great game, two fantastic teams, well worth a semi final. However, a few things really rubbed me the wring way. From bad to worse: the ref, the booing audience, the tmo, dallaglio, the tv directors... I am a huge rugby fan, but things are getting out of hand. It's like a badly written storyline...will there be a replay? Will there be a tmo check? will the ref remember his yellow card warning? will they come up with another subjective decision which determines winner and loser? Ridiculous, random, rage-inducing and not worth the efforts of all these warriors out there, who give it their all whenever they enter the pitch....
Good luck stopping Ben Tameifuna Leinster
🔥 Kudos to the Ref. Excellent position when every try was scored. 🔥🔥🔥
I'm not a Bath fan... but crickey Bordeax must have given a cellar of their finest to the officials today.
It’s funny really, bath won the quarter final because of some ugly ref calls, kind of ironic the shoe was on the other foot today. But I think Bordeaux would have won regardless. Again the commentary was unprofessional to have called it out, but absolutely correct from my neutral opinion.
A 2 legged semifinal is long overdue in this tournament.
Good Result for Bodeaux and the right result
