Why Liverpool NEED Andoni Iraola If Arne Slot Is Sacked

Liverpool didnt fail to go after Alonso....they did NOT want him...there is a difference and a huge difference at that....I am glad Liverpool havent taken Alonso as I dont think his style or tactics would suit us....ideally we would get Luis Enrique which wont happen why would he leave PSG....Iraola, Nagelsmann, or Honess are next on the lists for me

I'm a Scouser & I've going to Anfield for 50+ years & the moment I heard Iraola was leaving I wanted him at Anfield. If Luis Enrique wants the job then yes please but barring that wish I'd take Iraola in a heartbeat.

I’d love Iraola, his teams are so exciting. We’d get our identity back and his coaching is first class, look what he’s done at Bournemouth the whole team have bought into his strategy, plus he’s got Premier League experience the only thing he’d need to adapt / evolve is when playing 2 games per week, he’d probably need a slightly bigger squad, but Hughes knows him and what sort of player profiles he will need for his strategy and he’ll have our players fit. Hope FSG go for him.

No nonsense analysis! I have my doubt about Enrique as he's working and succeeding in a much weaker league than the EPL or the Spanish league and with the talents he has at disposal. Apart from PSG I hardly know of any other teams in France! My fear is that if Slot stays it maybe much more difficult to attract world class players or players with potential to become ones given what they have seen of Slot's team this season. Or how he uses them.

Slot is better experienced coach

SO slot is having his worst personal record as manager, his team has no structure, no intensity, no clear phylosophy, really really bad team this season and from the other side Iraola is doing great with his team, having the best season ever, but at the end of the day SLOT is Above Iraola in the PL table. Facts (and it's not about money, we all have tothenam and chelsea proving money is nothing in PL) If we fire Slot we must go for a big name with big European backgroung, not another young manager which has a sexy style of play. Slot is one of these Young managers, and his style of play was great with feyenord, and even with LVP he won the PL let's remember.

Sorry but no. Slot is a premier league and Eredivise winner and a European finalist. He is currently in a transition and evolutionary phase which was needed as this team had ageing stars. Yet I see no one mentioning that.
