What Alonso can work with and needs to bring in: GK: Top Keeper who can be here for 2 seasons till Penders is ready. Jorgensen (bench) only for one season CB: Senesi, Colwill, Diomande (starters) Hato, Sarr, Chalobah (bench) CM: Enzo, Caicedo (starters) Lavia, Santos (bench). Wingbacks: Cucu, James (starters) Quenda, Gusto (bench) Might need one more wingback in case James goes into midfield CAM: Palmer on the right, Estevao to fight for that position. Jackson on the left, Neto to fight for that position ST: Pedro (starter) Emegha (bench) Players who need Loans: Gittens(don't see him as a good fit in this system) Acheampong( prem loan or sister club) Essugo(prem loan or sister club) Delap( can see him also staying for depth) Sell everyone else not on the list. Don't mind Jackson sold so we can get someone better in the position with Neto as the backup.

The board has agreed that they'll bring in 3 Prem-ready players, and Alonso has asked for 2 CBs, which says a lot. Surely 1-2 of the CBs aren't in the squad today.
I think Penders is still not ready. His on ball ability is pretty great but some of his shot stopping isn't always great. There are a few times where when he rebounds balls into dangerous areas instead of catching, or sometimes doesn't seem to assured with simple saves. I personally hope he stays on loan again so he can develop and play with too much scrutiny l

In the Prem, the image in 3:00 will have at least 8 players in the box. There'd be very little space between the last line of defense to the keeper. Chelsea struggled to create chances and get a shot on target because most of our players don't dribble inside the box or can't shoot effectively from distance. Take the FA Cup final against City as an example. Teams would just pack the box and our wingers can barely create. We need elite wing-backs or wingers to break down low-blocks.

I like that your lineup only includes current players (plus Quenda who is already signed). People thinking we’re getting Yildiz, Bastoni, and 2 CBs (as much as I want it), are living in fantasy land.

Great video. However all these formations lack a lot of height. Hato, Colwill, James is very short for defending or attacking setpieces. No one really in the midfield to compensate. Wouldn't be surprised if they try to add height this summer

Solid. Chelsea might be back with this appointment Regarding Enzo & Caicedo, I think it’s possible Xabi uses Enzo in the Kroo’s/Xhaka role firmly establishing him as a DLP. Possibly he’s the one dropping between the CBs, assuming he’s still here next season
The only thing I think should be different in these line up you built is Acheampong, he is really fast and agressive when carrying the ball and I think being a sub for James as a R-Wing-Back would be more Ideal, that way Chelsea could keep Chalobah or Fofana as the Right back. Everything else was spot on, great video!
