Not using gvardiol is a crime
I fully support him as Man City fan Judging by his work at chelsea He has potential to be successful at Mancity With the Quality Mancity has I believe in him
Great analysis. I’ve made my bed with the fact that us City fans are never going to get it as good as we had with Pep. Lots of pressure on Maresca, though he’ll never find a better environment to succeed in than City.
Josko Gvardiol and Ruben Dias as center backs. Nico as left back. Rodri and Elliot Anderson in the middle. Cherki, Doku, Halaand and a new right winger most probably.
I stopped watching as soon as he mentioned TAA.
Just an FYI, during the 2022/23 season that City won the treble including the CL, it was Maresca that came up with the idea of moving stones into midfield when City had possession. He told Pep the idea and they both brainstormed on it and eventually Pep tried it and it worked. So, perhaps City fans should give Maresca the benefit of the doubt. I know he will be successful at City. City's administrative structures are very different from Chelsea's. At City, the manager has the freedom to choose the players he wants for a particular system, unlike Chelsea where the decision of buying players is not entirely up to the manager. City is a club that supports the manager unlike many other top clubs. So, Maresca will do well.
What would be a realistic aim for Maresca's first season at Man City?
So, basically the same with Pep's current starting line-up if we talk about the fire and ice combination. The difference would only be Trafford in goal. Khusa-Guehi -> Fire and Ice✅. Nunes at RB seems not far out. He plays as right sided CB in attacking phase for Pep most of this season and also City best crosser of the ball going forward. O'Reilly is a perfect three positions in one player. If Rodri stays, Rodri plays. Alongside Rodri, Anderson which heavily linked would complete the double 6. Rodri-Anderson -> Fire and Ice ✅. Doku is a ball to feet player while Semenyo is a space invader -> Fire and Ice ✅. Cherki holds the 10. Haaland nails the 9.
He isn’t, that’s the problem, but also, will be blessing for the rest of the league. Maresca did nothing at Chelsea to make me think he can handle the City job, nor did he show me anything that makes me think he can tactically keep City going.
Ahh yes, defender Trent who struggles to... defend.
Trafford in goal is all well and good but that’s obviously not going to happen. Donnarumma is our keeper to stay now. Edit: Trent? Hahahab okay we aren’t being serious
He is going to get a lot of abuse from all 12 city fans when he fails to live up to pep's standards.
Very good video.......
I reckon Foden playing more under Maresca
Sideways and Backwards football which will send fans to sleep at half time, then second half underperforms and makes ridiculous substitutions. Sacked by March. Maresca is overhyped and just happens to be bestie mates with uncle pep. Maresca is nowhere near the level of a Man City Manager but I can understand why the really big coaches don't want to follow Pep. Enzo BORING Maresca will send Man City out of the Champions League and watch out for the Christmas press conference where he says Man City are not ready to win the league. 🤣
I think the person next to Rodri and I think it’s the perfect fit and we was linked with him is enzo fernandez because under marsescca was amazing asw Edit: also elit Anderson
The problem with Maresca is when the chess game gets too tough he runs away.
Semenyo out Foden in Then perfect
The is no way gvardiol doesn’t start I don’t care whats your reason for that
Ehhhh, have you watched Khusanov???
