yeah $789 is crazy for this
700+ dollars for a portable 16inch monitor ??? ARE THEY MENTAL ? And not even touchscreen. No wonder they market it towards apple users.
For 600 you can have iPad Air as second portable screen for Macbook, and it also will be an iPad.
-doesn't support HDR -60hz -thick bezels -790$ kinda tracks that they try to compete with Apple
yeah $789 is crazy for this ..
hey he looks like a guy that owns monitors!
I just wish that when reviews said "there's better options out there" they'd actually list some of the better options out there..
I like the idea, but at this point you might as well just buy an iPad
I bought a 15 inch HD touchscreen monitor from a random company for a live event for $100. I'm sure that a lot of the specs weren't as good, but it did everything I needed it to do. I suspect that for three times as much I could get very close to this device
You know what else is a big plus? The Swiss flag. I’ll see myself out.
We're not buying 60Hz in 2026. Make it 8K or 16K, we don't care. We want high ppi, high refresh rate. 60Hz is for the offscreen where you keep you documentation open or youtube playing, not as a main screen.
The 60 Hz is a limitation of display over USB @ 4k. The "Pro" model is 120 Hz @ 2.5k. It's cheaper too. Edit: limited by power of 15 watts over USB
4:45 holy hell I nearly dropped my dinner
Yeah $789 is crazy for this....
I was living just fine without remembering that clip of Ninja doing the floss.
I've had the 1440p version of this for a few years and spend a lot of time on the road working in hotels / weworks etc. This is still the only travel monitor that can orient itself above your laptop display, which is more ergonomic than having the monitors side by side and it's space efficient on small desks. Yes, it's expensive, but for increased productivity on the move, it's nigh on the perfect second screen
i could have sworn this guy had a display already...
ext monitor for mac test for gaming.....great review. its like ride on square wheels. wtf test this monitor on coding expirience. test it in web. test it god bless in video time line.....ffs.
I have the SOTSU Flip Action Pro Gen 2. $600 for a 16" 2560x1600 with 120hz. It is AWESOME. I know it's crazy money but I use it at home as a second monitor and it's amazing on the road.
Nice sponsor segue energy Elijah
