I am not someone to normally ever condone cheating but I actually think that this is one situation in which it is justified with context. In the first episode of the show she was actually trying to leave her husband for this guy (so yes, she was emotionally cheating before that with him, and that was wrong) and her husband miniaturized her INTENTIONALLY to make her stay, and she just learned this the previous episode. So, while any emotional cheating that happened prior her attempt to leave was wrong, I think this particular encounter was a pretty understandable situation (although it’s revealed later that they apparently they didn’t sleep together?). This husband is also extremely psychopathic and does a ton of other evil shit

Hollywood loves finding reasons to validate cheating, no one in this movie is a good guy to me, the husband shrunk his wife to keep her as a pet, the woman slept with his best friend to get back at him, and the best friend slept with his best friend’s wife. But the movie tries to make you root for the cheaters because the husband is bad.
Voldemort goin crazy
