How SNL pulled off the stairs bit
Check out how SNL pulled off this sketch where the cast had to "fall" down the stairs. The crew built a rollable stair case and wall on an angle and then aligned the camera at the same angle. Stage hands then pulled the set by hand. So even though the actors were in one place on a crash pad, it seemed like they were falling down the stairs. Really genius, old school style stage craft that happened live on TV. This is why SNL is still so exciting to me. According to Scarnici, Steve Higgns came up with the concept of how to execute it. #snl #saturdaynightlive #tv https://www.popculturebrain.com/p/links Welcome to Pop Culture Brain, bringing you the movie news, TV news, and what-to-watch recommendations you need to know.
