Hey Samantha! I used to live in St Pete lol and had this problem w the smoke detector. I ended up calling my local fire department (not the emergency number) to ask what to do, and they came and took care of it for me

Hot tip: if it’s a local yarn store, ask if they’ll do a discount if you order whole bags through them. My mom used to own a quilt shop and she would do that.

I will say, and I really don’t mean to say this to shame or stress you or anyone out but I highly recommend not letting your young child eat in the car bc they can choke and it’s difficult to get to them quickly when you’re operating a vehicle. I say this because it happened to me as a toddler and I almost died. Worst moment of my mom’s life. I hope this helps instead of makes people feel awful. You’re doing great I just want everyone to be safe and aware of the potential risks involved.

The smoke detector beeping might not be a smoke detector. This happened to me in my house and it was a flood sensor in a cabinet under the sink!!!

17:28 as a knitter and crocheter I have to come in here to say, my favorite little wife’s tale is that there has to be a skipped stitch or a mess up along the way so that any bad energy is trapped in the maze of perfect stitches to protect you against bad luck.
