If you come from lower bracket you need to win 2 best of whatever. While the winners have to win just one best of whatever.

Format wasn't even the issue this time around. Sure there should be a bracket reset, no doubt. Gotta clutch up when it matters, though. Either need to finish the map 6 control or show up for game 7. Dashy was 1v4 in that last SND. Give the man some help. SND wins chips. OpTic play great all weekend but can't finish when it matters this year. We'll see what happens at Champs, still have some faith in them.

Should be a bracket reset in grand finals. Simple. The excuse the CDL gave early on was it would be too confusing to new viewers of why the bracket reset if I recall correctly

The format was pretty awesome. Just all day matches to watch! OpTic will likely turn it up soon. They are still the best in the league right now but I think it takes them into that final match not feeling as cracked as they should be.

I had never really thought about the format before but after major 2 I sat down and realized it really is some bullshit that the WINNERS FINAL WINNER (just in case you don’t understand that means they didn’t lose a single series all tournament) literally gets 0 advantages going into the final set of the tournament. Why even bother winning if there’s literally no benefit. Personally I think they should just mimic the FGC rules. People may say that a reset is harsh in a game like COD and my response to that would be DONT FUCKING LOSE. YOU ARE IN A TOURNAMENT WHERE THE GOAL IS TO WIN YOU SHOULD BE PENALIZED IF YOU LOSE. Instead losers has to play 1 extra series and that is supposed to be the winners reward? Not playing an extra series that you shouldn’t have to play because they didn’t lose? A toddler could come up with a better format than this. I just realized I wrote an essay but damn it I’m committed now lol.
