This has prolly been said, but Howard and Phillip make up the first part of H.P Lovecraft’s name (Howard Phillips Lovecraft). This is such a cool game, the artstyle is lovely and some of the rhymes are lowk funny, i loved this
This is one of the best playthroughs I've ever enjoyed. Not once did I sigh. Not once was I annoyed. I look forward to sharing this with all of my friends. The story of a hero tying up many loose ends.

One really cool little background detail is that one of the doors in the underground city is in the shape of HP Lovecraft's face. I love the aesthetic of this game so much

18:34 I think it was meant to be "Loyal-ed" (just spelled the way it would be pronounced to maintain the rhyme). To punish their betrayal, Dr. Morose MADE them loyal by giving them dog attributes (including a dog's devotion to their "master"). Getting made into a dog person was probably agonizing in its own right. But the internal conflicts between their new "loyalty", their desire to escape, and their former bond with each other, ultimately destroyed them. That's a shockingly brutal vignette this early in the game. I'm already impressed.
