For the disallowed goal, even if the whistle hadn't been blown, he wouldn't have counted since he hit the pad of Dobes and not the puck. You can't hit a goalie's pad to dislodge a puck he froze

Wildly pro-Buffalo take in the disallowed goal. How did you miss the fact that it was covered and Buffalo poked at Dobes’ pad to knock it loose?
That puck was pushed through Dobes, it was covered and poked loose, you got that wrong
The disallowed goal wasnt as clean as you suggest. It was covered, buffalo player poked the pads more or less simultaneously to the whistle and it went through, it didnt trickle through off the initial shot.
First, Dobes took an elbow to the head. No comment can changed that fact. Second, the goal was disallowed because the whistle was blown once Dobes smothered the puck. The puck came out from under Dobes AFTER his pads were pushed by a Sabres stick.
Yeah and the Habs didn't deserve to get beaten by a stanchion in game 4.
OT in game 7 is the ending to this series we all deserved. Was rooting for buffalo as an impartial observer, but congrats to the Habs. Go do the rest of the league a favor and humble carolina
Bro you are THE analytic / strategy hockey guy, how do you not know you can't poke the goalie's pad to force the puck loose. That's what caused it to squeak through. You can even see Dobes' reaction to Greenway forcing it.
Dobes rolled out of the contact to avoid getting his knees ripped apart. If he doesn't do that he gets blown over backwards and all the pressure goes to his knees. Buffalo has no business complaining about refs after getting away with that multiple times in the series
