i understand why buffalo fans feel robbed of a win from that goal, but like… it wasn’t a goal. they also got lucky after getting no penalty from flying into dobes, and then scoring after when really mtl should have had a power play.

For the last 30 minutes of the game, they kept trying the same set play over and over and over where they were trying to force a centering pass in front of the net. Buffalo would not allow it, they kept denying it every single time. I was yelling at my TV for them to stop trying that and to just shoot the damn puck from distance with bodies in front... then Newhook finally did and it went in. He's the MVP for finally being the one to just shoot the damn puck!
