One thing is for sure, this thing is waaay more beautiful to look at than the ix3 and the GLC.

Rory made me want to try this one. His reviews are just balanced enough to give you a feel for the car - not sycophantic, but not a nitpicking tirade just to prove how clever the reviewer is.
One beautiful piece of machinery
To all the Chinese haters, this vehicle is designed by Swedes and made in Sweden. Volvo is owned by Geely but that doesn't mean the vehicles are Chinese. The EX60 is as Swedish car as possible, you can't make a more Swedish car than this. Volvo just happens to have Chinese funding and contacts which helps for example them make products that are better value. Volvo is a smaller company after all when compared to the German ones for example.
I've had Volvos for the last five years now and they are so great. not for everyone, for sure, but just so damn comfortable and calming and unfussy.

Speaking of important numbers - the one we should all remember is 10,000 - the number of UK EX30 customers left with 70% battery capacity for the last 5 months and no end in sight due to defective battery cells. Still want an EX60?
Always admired Volvo cars but always lacked something that put me off. BUT This EX60 is beautiful in that understated way, range and good tech. Wish they made more tactile buttons though. This is still awesome.
All lights and wipers function i think should be physical. A nice stalk or clean buttons layout next to tge steering. This won't affect the design. As for climate control, a permanent lower portion on the screen must have all the main function of the HVAC. Fan speed, temp, direction, front and rear defrost, ac, on, off. And this must stays on display all the time

What is the consumption at 120kph? And at what ambient temperature? I need big range when going on long motorway trips, which I am not interested in driving at less than 120kph on. A modern car should be able to cruise at 120kph without range falling off a cliff. What will it do, 300miles at 120kph?

Range Anxiety has been dead for a couple of years with the huge improvements to batteries and infrastructure. Range Anxiety has been replaced with Price Anxiety can I get back to my cheaper home / base charger than having to pay the massive public charging fees?
