Hiya just watched your MG video. See you were having problems starting it. My MG will not start unless all doors are fully closed and the handbrake is on, gears in neutral and foot on the foot brake. Then push the button. When I first had it it took me ages to start it because one door was on safety catch. It only shows open doors on dash when ignition is off Love your videos.
Still laughing at the seam sealer and if I put a blindfold on I might get close. No need for a joke after that 😂. Looking forward to Chris pulling that, I love watching the way rear quarters pop back into shape. Love this channel.

Cheap chinesium if that's the quality of the seam sealer what other horrors hide under the pretty plastic. With the car market been flooded with cheap Chinese cars with odd ball names and many looking like ripoff's of top quality manufacturers. I'll be happy to be brand loyal to an established car manufacturer.

Drove the smaller HS as a courtesy car a couple of years ago for a week. The man at the dealership warned me how bad it was before driving it! He was right. Couldn't believe how a "modern" car could be so terrible. Can't imagine this being much better. Bigger and a bit faster.

If you've not already found out, press the start button once orange light comes on. This means the car is awake. Press again, and it goes green; this means all systems are live, but the engine will not start. Press the start button with your foot on the brake pedal and the car will start. The car is an HS mk1 facelift Trophy petrol.

Another YouTuber has recently bought an MG that had a front- ender, from Copart for £1800, virtually a new car with a couple of thousand on the clock. He was told "parts are cheap for new MG's" and he was pleasantly surprised to find just how cheap they were from the main dealer !

Guys, disconnect the airbag ecu and it will fire up. Crash data needs to be cleared from airbag ecu. It should still start and drive if you fully disconnect the airbag ecu and send it for reset. This is a definite solution to get it starting for now.
