It Had Become A Pattern I Couldn’t Ignore Anymore. So When They Left For Her Again, I Left For Good. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I’m walking through the front door after an eight-hour shift at the hardware store, holding a chocolate cake I bought myself from the grocery store bakery. Cost me six bucks. Had happy birthday written in blue frosting that was already smearing from the heat. It wasn't much, but it was mine. My parents, Patricia and Dennis, were sitting in the living room with my sister, Haley, like some kind of intervention setup. The second I walked in, my mom looked up with this expression... #redditstories #askreddit #redditfamily #redditstories

All these sidelined children become super successful and then old family needs them! New plots pls.
I love how Dad - who it states did NOT come to the funeral -looked wrecked and walked up to him after the service HE DIDN''T GO TO.
The bank wanted $52k, he offered $47k, they accepted $45k, how does that work?
OMG this reminds me of a guy I knew back in high school with a sister who was self absorbed, joined the drama class and club convinced she was gonna be the next Meryl Streep. She was upset cause once again she didn’t get the lead in an upcoming school play McBeth if I remember, and had to go on a shopping trip with her parents. The guys friends decided they’d had enough and threw him a big party, when the drama club and class found out they also arrived teacher included with gifts and 3 students being comical characters of his sister and parents. A recording got back to the sister who’d been nicknamed Temper Tantrum Tiny or TTT and like her nickname trashed and damaged property in the high end store her and her mom were in leading to an arrest.
Another Honda Civic; always glad to see my faithful chariot mildly glorified in these stories 🥹😊☺️
"by denying me birthday celebrations, she taught me to celebrate myself every day." it's crazy how something so hurtful turned into something so strong... that quote alone is worth the whole video
Í don't blame op for leaving his family behind and let them deal with their mess
The mother would have worn the cake.
1.Does anyone in these stories ever beat cancer? 🤬 2.Where is Patrica Chan and Hayes construction 🥴😂
Blake should have told them what little sister had planned, this is a distraction to cover the fact that she failed out of college.
I would have accepted the father’s apology and slowly rebuild the relationship with said father and help him rebuild not just his life but his mental health as well. What people don’t understand is when someone beats you down both mentally and physically is so easy to give up/in and just do what that person wants.
I would mail dad 5 100 bills
These stories are getting really boring. No interaction just business deals and no revenge
I swear these stories could be shortened by half. It might be crazy to hear, but not many enjoy the endless inner monologuing and how many houses these fictional characters buy. Get to the story and quit stalling
If his father wasn't invited to the funeral and didn't come how could he approached him after the funeral
I'm going to say this with Love....Get Out stand on your own two feet and stop waiting for them to validate you
Should have said go ahead have your pity party ,don't think of touching my cake
Op is a loser for living at home? What does that make her?
Is that mother really that stupid to fall for that? Another crazy story that really is not realistic.
Wishing every viewer strength for hard times and smiles for the days ahead
