4:25 My grandmas name was Gertrude - we called her “Dirty Gertie” because she was always cracking inappropriate jokes 😂 RIP ❤
MIKE: FL41 glasses. Fluorescent lights trigger ocular/vestibular migraines for me. There is a type of lens coating (fl41) that works to block the subvisual flickering that triggers the migraines. I've had a pair or the aviator style for 3 years, and they are UH-MAZING. Can't let a Tater King suffer.
Mike's sunglasses are giving Robert Downey Jr.
Not my Dog named DUKE running into the screen door thinking he was in trouble 😂😂😂❤🏆🤲🏻
My Grandma was Mildred. She was always Millie. Which suited her. Miss her. She passed at 99. Sweetest lady ever. ❤
If they cheat with you, they'll cheat on you.
24:28 this is so gross. If you “have an itch” go home and be with your partner. And if the itch is for something new-don’t get married to a monogamous person. Ew.
It seems with the 2nd story, the problem is less about the kid's name and more about being overrun by his wife's family. He needs to learn how to stand up to stand up to them so he support his daughter as she grows into her own person. Which she will do, even with an old lady name. (PS I have an old lady name and I love it! It's a great conversation starter)
Leave Agnes out of this 😂
0:10 I saw a license plate *frame* today that said “be nice to me, I might be your nurse” and that honestly scared the shit out of me. Because what do you mean I have to be nice to you for you to do your job and not let me die?
Charlotte and Mike humor feels less filtered and more unhinged, and I'm here for it.
"I got a good therapist, but I do not want to burden her with your problems" that is amazing 🤣🤣🤣
5:59 PARENTS DONT CHOOSE WHO A KID IS!!!! You pick their name, that’s it!! They pick their personalities and identity!!
7:47 I always say when naming your kids, think like a 6th grade bully and come up with every cruel nickname possible so you can see what life will be like with said name 😂 has saved my friends kids from torture many times!
I have GERD, and will be referring to it as Gertie henceforth 😂
I'm a Ruth and I've always loved my name. I've never minded it sounding old because it's so uncommon I'm usually the only Ruth in a group
I relate to the needing quiet time alone. Also, my 18 year old daughter and her friends came up with a brilliant way to express that on a trip we took last summer- they call it astronaut time. (You aren't here/aren't available/cannot be reached) If any of them said at any moment "i need astronaut time" the others would give them space to go decompress in their room, no questions asked. Then when they joined the group again everything continued as normal. No hurt feelings or issues. I would love to normalize astronaut time
When I found out I was the other woman, I screen recorded the conversations I had with the guy and sent it all to the GF. Absolutely DO NOT regret it. I hope he rots!
As a polyamorous person, even those of us who aren’t always monogamous don’t just “have an itch.” Cheaters are disgusting people who don’t deserve the relationship(s) they’re in.
I was in a similar situation. My husband explained that sometimes he needs "me time," to be alone. Initially, I was hurt. But then I understood. I also enjoy being alone sometimes. I'll go to the movies on my own, read a book in another room. When I notice my husband seems down, I ask if he needs "me time." He had felt guilty asking, but having me prompt it reassures him. I'd much rather be an interdependent couple that enjoys some joint activities and alone time than a toxic codependent couple.
