I really hope this is a transition in your life. I mean, I'm a developer too, but that routine really seems like cancer. I think you can burn out very easily. When I was younger, I dreamed of this life, and now I just want to fish and be happy in nature, xD

I have great work-life balance where I work. They tried a 3-day mandatory RTO but compliance was so low they’d have had to fire half the company so they actually rolled it back. They listened to us. Everyone was still on Teams meetings anyway. Being fully-remote AND having a company-wide policy against overtime means work time is work time and off time is off time. I love that. I understand how you feel about boring work. I always dreamed of moving from a lifelong freelancing career into big tech. I dreamed of working on super cool products like at Apple or something and I’m instead doing content for a website’s search experience. It’s not a horrible job, but it’s not what excites me.

Your videos are so oddly satisfying, which really makes me want to get into coding. Specially right after getting a MacBook Pro M5, I graduated High-school last year but never went to college, since I never really knew what to do and just working blue collar. The way you work seems like a dream having a nice workspace and time to have meals outside during the day. Don't know if you have time to give me any advice or even be able read this to begin with. But I would really really really appreciate it. Keep up the great content
