Speech therapist here! Maybe you can make it into a game as far as the colors go on the hatch. During the day, when it’s not nap time, make a game to pretend to sleep and stay in bed and then change the hatch color and tell him “wake up” and then pretend to get up and come out of the room! Making it fun, silly, etc!! ❤
They make sleep bag walkers if you want to have a blanket on him
My sister just transitioned her twins to twin beds, and she said that one thing that helped was sitting in the room for a little while while they laid down to get them sleepy
