The Cinematography of Wuthering Heights Explained | Shot Breakdown

Film and Animation

Why does Wuthering Heights look so beautiful? In this video, I dive into the cinematography and color theory of the film. Psychological color theory is the use of color to shape how an audience feels. Through lighting and color palettes, filmmakers guide emotion and atmosphere long before a character ever says a word. what about the scene where edgar restricts cat the first time? when he's wearing a green robe, in his green room and her room is shown thru his room's door wearing a pink robe in a pink room. can you breakdown that scene for me? i was so intrigued by that.
