Funny how faith can justify actions that are against what the faith claims to invest in.
The lore was changed because in the original omen , damian was born from.a jackal and the name on the headstone was scianna.
This prequel is a total screw up. Damien was born of an animal not a human. They should have shown the conception of Damien from the jackal and Satan with Father Brendan and Spilletto overseeing the dark ceremony. The movie would show the consequences of what they did and the cultists would suffer punishments one by one until only Father Brendan, Father Spilletto and Sister Baalock surviving. I'm sorry but I just didn't care for this movie.
I gave you a thumbs up, but I won't watch the video, cos it contradicts the other 3 films, and 5 books. Nothing personal against you dude.
Its was actual really good for a prequel. I did not expect that it would be good.

This doesn't connect to the Omen trilogy at all....Omen 4 was better than this. All the time I was watching this.I was thinking that she was going to be the young Mrs Baylock Or Holly One of Damien's two nannies
Charles Dance as Father Harris gives a fine (even if short) performance. You can feel the controlled terror in his voice as he spills the beans to Father Brennan. His death is just as gruesome as the ones in Omen, Omen II and Omen III. It is made more unsettling by the fact that he smiles and we never actually see him die (although we know he couldn't possibky survive that).

Saw them all between 1988 and 1993 (between ages 6 and 11, except for The Thing, which I didn't see until I was in my 20s).
