You could always get your ecu set to stock settings

Transmission issues are terrifying. And it either end up being the easiest and cheapest, or the hardest and most expensive fix. No in between
Dude. They knew. There isnβt a single honest car dealership on this planet π
As an owner of 2x r8s and s7s I would say one of three things. 1. The tune will need to be removed and set back to proper and approved specs. 2. If you were driving the car at redline and then it suddenly died out then I would say you have too much pressure in the mechatronic unit or the pump overspun and failed. 3. If you were not redlining it then it wouldnβt be the tune as it was pumping within the correct revolution speed. 4. Check with VCDS for the code and reply to this comment.
βIβm gonna hope that they didnβt knowβ thatβs the issue right there

Transmission malfunction= your bank account will malfunction
Everyone saying "steak too juicy" doesn't understand that It's not that simple. Badly done tunes can cause expensive transmission issues. He also doesn't know what type of tune, what company did the tune etc, and there could be many issues related to getting a tune cheaply done on a car like this. It can also void the warranty on the car

Only way to know what's been done is doing a dyno/ using an obd scanner
Car salesmen never lie! π
That happened to me, but with a BMW 335i. Dealership said nothing about a tune but a few weeks later I found out. Needless to say, I was not disappointed
Does the redline change when you put it in performance mode. I can't imagine why "comfort" mode would give you a higher redline but in the picture with the 8500 redline the car is in performance mode. Yours is in comfort.
I can't believe they upgraded me to 1st class when they promised coach!
All the people saying just remove the tune and re-flash to stock donβt realize that the tune was likely the one thing that was forgotten. The car was likely running multiple other mods and driven hard, most people do not just do an ecu/tcu tune only. Thatβs the real issue, especially from a dealership that doesnβt seem to know anything about its past.
