CHECK OUT CARS & BIDS! https://crsnbds.com/doug This is the new 2027 Volvo EX60 and it's a brand new midsize luxury SUV that's fully electric. Even though it shares a similar space in Volvo's lineup, the EX60 is not just an electric version of the existing XC60; it's a completely new vehicle. Today I'm reviewing the new EX60 and while I can't yet drive it, I'll still show you the many quirks and features. We see that Supra in the reflection Doug, you can’t hide your intentions forever!
We live in wild times where 370 HP is considered basic.
The interior looks like it's from a early 2000s concept car.... We are living in the future.
The sound system in volvos is great stuff.
The interior feels like you're in a living room and the tablet is like a TV. Normally, I wouldn't like these interiors, but I actually like this one
Doug, come review my Lada 2101 in Atlanta! I emailed you a few years ago and never got a response.
i'm a new EX30 owner (got one right in the nick of time before they canceled it in the US), and as a first-time volvo customer, i continue to be pleasantly surprised by how much attention to detail and thoughtfulness goes into their cars. especially at the price point of the entry level EX30, it's been a joy to drive, and i imagine i'll probably eventually "graduate" to an EX60 or EX90 later on.
Seems like a sweet spot. You get the luxury and safety of Volvo and the EV technology expertise of Geely. 👍🏾
Cannot wait for the Doug Scores on this, the R2, and the iX3 (and I suppose, the MB equivalent EV).
Today we live in a crazy era where Volvo offer a 670hp model and we all think "it's nothing so special"
I hate those damn floating screens, I hate them with all my heart and I'm not a "car guy".
At a Volvo Club event a couple years back, Volvo sent over some of their designers from Sweden to get some perspectives from people on what they should do in their new models. I had one of their interior designers sit in my 850 and use the vertical, pull-back door latch and pointed out how satisfying and ergonomic it is, he agreed and took video of it and notes. I'd therefore like to take credit for the vertical, pull-back door latch in the EX60 🤣
I love when automakers think of good small touches, like the rear seat phone pockets, interior dimensions printed, etc. But things like this should be the norm, not the exception like on pricier vehicles like this Volvo.
400 miles of range in a Volvo EV puts them in the right ballpark for consideration purchase. Finally!!!!
Wow, a luxury electric SUV worth more than my life savings. We definitely needed more of those.
that original supra looks crazy good at 2:10
Stupid door handles are stupid. Especially on a family car where you'll be carpooling other people's kids and will have to explain it all the time. And who knows if they'll work in a crash when you need to get your kids out.
Even if those door handles got you an extra 25 miles of range, I would still prefer regular handles.
They worry about aerodynamics for the door handles but the side views mirrors can move any angle.
Really nice vehicle with great performance and very fast charging
