Ich bin amputiert, habe mein rechtes Bein durch die Folgen eines Autounfalles als Beifahrer verloren. Wurde mehrmals operiert. 4 Jahre nach der letzten Operation war ich wieder stark genug, kรถrperlich und geistig, um wieder aufs Motorrad zu steigen. Ich kaufte eine neue Honda Africa Twin mit DCT und lies noch die Hinterradbremse zur Handbremse umbauen. Jetzt brauche ich mein Bein nur beim Stehenbleiben. Ich habe leider immer noch Schmerzen, aber an diesen Tagen fahre ich nicht auch nicht mit dem Auto. Schmerzen beeintrรคchtigen die Aufmerksamkeit und stellt eine Gefahr fรผr andere dar. Ich bin dankbar zumindest hin und wieder Motorrad fahren zu kรถnnen. Es tut mir gut! Leidenschaft bringt einem dazu verrรผckte Dinge zu tun! ๐๐๐ Bleibt gesund!

I tore a ligament in my calf whilst skiing on the second day of my holiday. I skied the next 5 days anyway. When I had the MRI back home, it turned out that keeping active helped recovery because had I kept it still, the ligament wouldโve locked up and been stiffer thus harder to recover from. I was on a lot of painkillers thoughโฆ ๐
