I would pull that panel with the flickering light on and just disconect the plug at the back of the switch looking good steve

Pull the switch out and unplug from back. Get a volt meter to check battery voltage and recharge battery. You can check the voltage drop periodically 😊 process of elimination I’m afraid.
I'm only at the start of the video so not sure if you fixed the problem but why don't you flick the switch out and simply disconnect it. Problem solved then

I'd paint it a temporary warmer colour - like a rusty red or olive green maybe (sample pot at a diy shop). Loving the vids Steve...keep up the brilliant work
I believe adding white paint to the black wooden divider will lighten and lift your whole interior. You can wash over the top of chalk paint by using a coloured chalk paint and wiping off excess when paint is wet. Gives a driftwood aged type of finish.
The heated mirrors fuse is in location 30 on the fuse board and it’s a 15A fuse. Or just pull the plug. Should be on the engine bay fuse box to the right when you lift the bonnet.
Check the earth cables in the engine bay, including the power cable to the starter
Hope it is the switch as parasitic drains sometimes are a pita to find.
Auto electrician would be your best best as they specialise in vehicle electrics rather than a mechanic who normally specialise in mechanical side of things, best of luck 🤞

Why not pop a couple of light undercoats on the black wood panels & then a couple of top coats in a nice wood varnish finish maybe?🤔 Also, just a suggestion … probably more practical to situate your planned shower next to kitchen sink area. Oh, & one other observation … would it be possible to position your bed widthways across the back of the van up against the back doors? If that works for you then you’ll have a lot more space for shower & kitchen etc. Just floating some ideas for you ✨😌💫✨
If you google the problem, which I just did, it tells you exactly where the fuses are and how to fix the problem. Also your hand book should tell you. I’m surprised you haven’t done this.

On a 2007 Citroën Relay / Boxer / Ducato, the mirror/heated mirror circuits are usually in the dashboard fusebox on the passenger side (UK van), often behind the glovebox/side panel. Unfortunately the exact fuse number varies slightly by year/spec, but the likely candidates are commonly: F44 F49 F57 or nearby comfort/equipment fuses. The easiest thing for him to do remotely is: ignition OFF, doors shut, pull ONE fuse at a time related to: mirrors, heated rear/mirror, body computer, accessories. Then: wait 30 seconds, see if the flickering stops. If pulling the mirror fuse stops it completely: → either: mirror switch shorting internally, heated mirror relay stuck, or door wiring fault. If it doesn’t stop: → likely BCM/body computer/ignition feed issue instead. Another strong clue: If the flickering is rhythmic (every few seconds), that’s VERY often a relay or module repeatedly waking/sleeping due to low voltage or internal fault.
I would just paint in the areas exposed from where you've removed the pictures with black paint, to create a contrast between all the white.
How much was the van? Keep the wood black or duck egg blue.
