DIY Outdoor Kitchen Build - Framing the Kitchen & Plumbing
We are in the process of building a DIY outdoor kitchen on our homestead in the mountains. After weeks of work building the roof and the deck we finally moved onto the important parts of the kitchen including the side walls and we built a dry stack fireplace. If you want to start at the beginning find all the videos on our channel but for now it’s time to begin the kitchen counter tops. We frame the structures using purlins and create our dream kitchen bench space with space for our fridge, a sink and 4 plate gas cook top. We install the plumbing and our gorgeous terracotta clay sink. We work on all the finer details and finishing touches on the counter space as we prepare for the next task which will be to tile this entire surface! We are rookie builders and have no idea what we are doing most of the time, we just figure things out as we go learning day by day as we bring our dream homestead to life.
